Questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan is free — no credit card, no catch. Use it for as long as you want. There's no expiration.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. If you downgrade, you'll keep access to your current plan until the end of your billing period.
What happens to my articles if I downgrade?
All feeds keep 90 days of history regardless of plan. The difference is how long your saved articles (starred, read later, or in a folder) stick around. If you go from Pro back to Free, saved articles older than 90 days will be cleaned up on the next cycle.
Is there a yearly plan?
Not yet. We're keeping things simple for now. If enough people ask for it, we'll add one.
How does billing work?
Payments go through Polar, our merchant of record. They handle invoicing and sales tax so you don't have to think about any of that. Your invoice will show "Polar Software, Inc."
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Hit cancel in your settings and you keep access through the end of what you already paid for. No hoops, no guilt trip, no "are you sure?" screens.
What counts as a "feed"?
Each RSS or Atom URL you subscribe to counts as one feed. If a site publishes separate feeds for different sections, each one counts on its own.
What does the Team plan's shared feeds feature do?
Everyone on the team shares the same feeds and folders. When one person adds a feed, it shows up for everybody. Handy if your team reads from the same sources and you don't want five people each maintaining their own list.
What can I do with the API?
Build automations like daily digest emails, feed health monitors, and export pipelines. You can also connect your feeds to AI agents. Available on Pro and Team plans.
